If you want to try caving, set off to Huda Luknja with experienced guides, and walk and crawl 2,300 metres past defiles, syphons and to its gallery with stalactites and stalagmites.

If you want to see Šaleška Valley from the air, go to the airport in Lajše and fly with pilots, or rent a motor plane if you have suitable documents. If you want to experience the valley naturally, ride to the lakes by horse.

If you want to defeat your opponent, play tennis by the lakes or at an indoor court, where you can also play badminton, squash, and table tennis. For good physical condition, you can choose from amongst many forms of outdoor and indoor fitness studios.

You can cheer at indoor sport competitions, or watch ski jumping from the bottom of the castle’s hill at the heart of Velenje.
