Bicycle bus

The Bicikel Bus service will start operating on July 12, 2025. It is a regular line, and on weekends and public holidays, it will also offer bicycle transport with an additional trailer for up to 16 standard (non-electric) bicycles.

Departures from Velenje are scheduled at 07:15 and 15:00, and from Logarska Dolina (Hotel) at 09:35 and 17:35. Passengers pay the fare based on the distance travelled. Bicycle transport is free of charge. The trailer for standard bicycles will be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays during July and August.

The service starts this Saturday. Please note that the trailer is not suitable for transporting electric bikes, as it does not provide adequate support or fastening options due to their size and weight.

We named it Bicycle bus because we wanted to emphasize that it is also connected to a trailer that can transport up to ten bicycles. It is, of course, also intended for passengers who do not own a bicycle.

The bicycle bus is a 30-seater bus that comes equipped with a trailer for transporting bicycles. It is intended for everyone, including tourists who do not have a bicycle and, of course, cyclists. We want to ensure that the Upper Savinja region and Logarska Valley can be reached without the use of a car by providing organized public transportation, thereby reducing the presence of sheet metal in the area. At the same time, we want to provide a relaxing trip without a long car ride, with a lower carbon footprint, and to encourage active nature exploration.

EVERY WEEKEND IN JULY AND AUGUST, THE BICYCLE BUS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE LOGARSKA VALLEY.

The cost of transportation is determined by the length of the journey, and bicycle transportation is free. Ticket reservations are not possible.
