Pay us a visit at the Šaleška Valley Tourism Board at Vila Bianca in Velenje, where we will provide you with tips about current experiences, brochures, maps and tickets, among other things.
Cycle the valley
Cycle numerous cycling trails, passing rolling hills, forests, rivers and lakes, all collected in the catalogue and application. Take the cycling bus to meet new challenges in the surrounding area.
Interesting destinations by foot
Various walking, thematic and hiking trails take you from the lakes that give Šaleška Valley its distinctive character to panoramic and easily accessible locations. Discover the peaks at the valley’s edge on Šalek mountain trail.
Active on water
Velenje Beach, a recreational lakeside area, is the perfect starting point for various sports. You can surf, sail, sup, row, swim or take a ride in the Pletna boat.
From underground to climbing destinations
In Šaleška Valley, adrenaline seekers discover the most demanding climbing route in Slovenia and trek in a Karst cave in the summer, and enjoy natural ice rinks and small ski slopes in the winter. You can work out and engage in sports events in halls, stadiums and fitness centres.

At the Tourist Information Center of the Šaleška Valley, in TIC Velenje (Vila Bianca), you can rent an electric bike, a pushbike, or a tricycle for disabled individuals (regular and electric).

The Šaleška Mountain Hiking Trail leads you along the edges of Šaleška Valley. It is marked with blazes and there are directional signposts at intersections.
