Youth Center Velenje is one of the largest youth centers in Slovenia. We mainly focus on the preparation of various cultural, educational, social, entertainment, and recreational activities and programs. Our main principles are: collaborating with youth and for youth, informal education, knowledge transfer between generations and informal mentoring. We prepare a diverse program throughout the year so you can visit us any day of the year.

Visitors of metaldays that arrive earlier are welcome to our mini festival »Neki poletnega« at open-air cinema at Škale lake. From the 21st to the 29th of july, we will have concerts, a guided wine tasting, sports tournaments, board games, pub quiz, a movie night, a creative workshop, and more. Open-air cinema is one of the most beautiful venues in Velenje, the canopy of trees offers shade and protection from the summer sun. And for those exploring our town after metaldays, we recommend visiting our biggest cultural project, the 26th festival of youth culture »Kunigunda«. The festival, starting on the 25th of august and ending on the 2nd of september, will leave its mark with concerts, performances, sports, and other events at locations all over Velenje.
